Disputed Items Cannot Be Re-Sold and Transferred: 1681m[f]
Historically, as soon as a consumer contested an account, the duped lender would try to sell it off to a debt collector or junk debt collector [or anyone willing to pay value] and such an event perpetuated the negative credit reporting. This folder examines the change, via FACTA of 2003, prohibiting the transfer, sale, assignment, etc., of a contested debt. 15 USC 1681m[f].

Requirement to Report Specified Data Fields in the Metro Tape Sequence
What happens if the creditor or credit bureau fails to report your high credit limit or certain other specific data fields in your account? The creditors and credit bureaus have purposefully manipulated the reporting process to your detriment. Often times, it is an effort to make you a captive debtor, ie., no other lender will give you credit because your ratios are skewed and your credit score is adversely impacted so you cannot escape the creditor's grip.
