Ask the manager of the post office where the PO Box was opened to provide all evidence of the fraud including the application for the PO Box pursuant to FCRA § 609(e), Or if you are working with a local Postal Inspector – they can get the documentation for you. Your client will need to provide the police report and affidavit- but he should be able to get the evidence to show that he didn’t open the account.
Notify the local Postmaster to forward all mail in the victim’s name to his own address. visit its web site at http://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/.
