CREDIT ISSUER CANNOT ACT FOOLISH AFTER NOTIFICATION:

Where husband notified creditor to close account and that ex-wife had charge card and creditor knew the exact location where ex-wife continued to make purchases and that ex-wife was person charging, yet creditor failed to act, husband was not liable. Socony Mobil Oil Co. v. Greif, 197 N.Y.S.2d 522 (1960).
