Postby David A. Szwak » Wed Oct 26, 2005 8:23 pm

A consumer reporting agency, through its employees, must act impartially and in good faith, carefully evaluating all information before disseminating any information to third persons or its subscribers. Further, the agency must conduct a thorough and complete investigation of any and all information it takes in for placement into credit files. Bartels v. Retail Credit Co., 175 N.W.2d 292 (Neb. 1970).
