My husband and I filed for bk in 2002 and two out the three mortgages we retained (and did not reaffirm) are reporting that the debt was "Included in Bankruptcy" even though it was retained and we never had a late and paid it in full a year and a half later (it does say paid and closed on the CR). Is this legal? And if not, how do I go about fixing it. I have already disputed it with the CRA's and then contacted the mtg companies, but they say since we did not reaffirm the debt that they can report it that way. Has anyone been in this same situation? PLEASE HELP!
