Morris v. Equifax Info. Servs., LLC, No. 05-20578 (5th Cir. July 24, 2006)
The mere fact that a consumer reporting agency (CRA) does not own a
consumer's file does not of itself necessarily relieve that CRA of the
reinvestigation requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15
U.S.C. section 1681i.
