LeCompte v. Credit Bureau of Baton Rouge, Inc., and Equifax Credit Information Services, Inc., Civil Action No. 95-2019, c/w 95-2023 and 95-2024 Section E/5, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, 1996 U.S. Dist, LEXIS 8717, June 18, 1996 - Judge Livaudais.

Plaintiffs filed a Motion to Reconsider the Court’s granting defendant’s Motion to Summary Judgment. FRCP 59(e).

The Court found the Motion non-meritorious. There was no FCRA claim stated. CRAs may report Chapter 7 bankruptcies for ten (10) years. 1681c. The Court found the CRAs treated all consumers filing bankruptcies identically.
